English Speaking Competition

Dragon Kids School is delighted to announce the first edition of the English Speaking Competition in Annecy. The competition is open to children aged 3 to 15, with the option of entering on site in Annecy or sending a video by e-mail.

1. Age categories :

• Children’s group: 3-6 years (born between August 1ᵉʳ, 2018 and July 31, 2022)
• Young Children’s Group: 7-10 years (born between August 1ᵉʳ, 2014 and July 31, 2018)
• Teen Group: 11-15 years (born between August 1ᵉʳ, 2009 and July 31, 2014)

2. Important dates :

• Registration deadline: March 25
• Annecy selection: April 5
• Awards ceremony: June 18 in Annecy

3. How to take part :

• Face-to-face participation: Participants present themselves on April 5 in Annecy for their performance.
• Remote participation: Participants send a video of their performance by e-mail before March 25.

4. Technical requirements for videos :

• Format: Unedited, still video shot in landscape mode (MP4 format).
• Minimum duration:
  • Children’s group: 60 seconds
  • Other groups: 90 seconds
• File name: Title of work + Name of participant + Category

5. Background music: Participants may use instrumental music without words as accompaniment.

6. Awards :

• 1ᵉʳ Prize: Gold Trophy + Certificate (1 winner per group)
• 2ᵉ Prize: Silver Trophy + Certificate (2 winners per group)
• 3ᵉ Prize: Bronze Trophy + Certificate (3 winners per group)

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on June 18 in Annecy.

7. Registration: To register, please complete the form available on our website before March 25.
